By creating an account or using Soulbound ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Get Soulbound Inc. ("we", "us", "our").

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using Soulbound, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Soulbound. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18, that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement, and that you are not prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful information in your profile.
• Not create more than one account.
• Not share your account with anyone else.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. The Soul Interview

The soul interview is an AI-guided conversation designed to map your psychological profile. You understand that:

• The soul interview is not therapy, counseling, or a clinical psychological assessment.
• Results are for matching purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional mental health advice.
• The accuracy of your profile depends on the honesty and thoughtfulness of your responses.
• You may retake the interview (subject to subscription tier) but cannot manually edit AI-derived profile traits.

5. Matching and Connections

Soulbound uses an algorithm informed by psychological compatibility to suggest matches. You understand that:

• Matches are suggestions, not guarantees of compatibility or relationship success.
• Match availability depends on the user pool in your area and preferences.
• Matches expire after 7 days if neither user acts.
• Rejection is invisible — if someone passes on you, you will not be notified.
• Chat only unlocks when both users express mutual interest.

6. Community Standards

Soulbound is a space for intentional connection. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or bully any user.
• Send sexually explicit, violent, or hateful content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Use the app for commercial solicitation, spam, or scams.
• Share other users' private information outside the app.
• Attempt to circumvent our matching system or create fake profiles.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service.

Violations may result in temporary suspension or permanent account removal at our sole discretion.

7. Content You Create

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, messages, intention texts). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display it to other users as part of the Service's core functionality. You are solely responsible for the content you share. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Standards.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Soulbound offers free and premium tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play. You agree to:

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled through your app store per their refund policy.
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers keep their rate until renewal.
• Free tier features may change as the Service evolves.

9. Safety and Reporting

Your safety matters. If you experience harassment or encounter inappropriate behavior:

• Use the in-app Report feature on any match or chat.
• Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
• Reporters are never identified to the reported user.
• We may take action including warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.
• In cases of imminent danger, contact your local emergency services.

10. Limitation of Liability

Soulbound is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• The behavior of other users, online or offline.
• The accuracy of AI-generated profiles or compatibility assessments.
• Any emotional distress, relationship outcomes, or personal experiences resulting from use of the Service.
• Service interruptions, data loss, or technical errors.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
